Named after the 17th c. English classicist architect Inigo Jones, our brief was to create an identity that was as playfully colourful, irreverent and ornamental, as The Modern House is monochrome, minimalist, and pragmatic. In defining this new territory we took inspiration from Charleston, the highly decorative Sussex home of the Bloomsbury set, exploring the rich visual language of the colours and patterns that can be found there as well as in the work of some of its associated artists. The logo was based on the font Cosi Azure by Nikolas Type.
